The Project
Sainsbury’s was founded in 1869 and today operates over 1,203 supermarkets and convenience stores and employs around 161,000 colleagues. Renowned for putting their customers at the heart of everything they do investing in stores, colleagues and channels to deliver the best possible shopping experience.
In connection with the launch of the new Shrek film, Sainsbury’s came forward with the need of a promotional campaign that would stand out form the rest. The use of Shrek “S” being implemented into the Sainsbury’s signage design proved too good an opportunity to turn down. The shop sign design was installed at all of the Sainsbury’s stores turning heads at a national level.
