The Project
Penny Ink is a small start up wedding & party organisation company offering a wide range of services from full planning and supplier sourcing through to on the day events and pre wedding celebrations. The brief was to capture a modern yet shabby chic feel translating the high-end service offered throughout. The brief was to initially create a brand which then lead into the design of a responsive website, printed adverts and business cards.

Branding
We started the process by developing the branding. Sarah at penny Ink had recently lost a couple of family members and would like to reflect them in the brand by incorporating dragonfly as a theme starting its onward journey. We chose to use a sophisticated typeface complimented by floral design touches.

Web Design
Once the branding was completed, we moved onto the web design. Using the floral decorative touches from the branding we we’re set with all the assets to craft a soft and welcoming theme web design. The website consisted of a vibrant gallery, recent case studies and a quick and easy to use contact form. The website was built with a fully optimised content management system enabling the client to make updates as required.

Design for Print
To finish the job we enlisted a local print company to run a batch of printed materials. With graphic design and branding we always bare in mind how the design will translate from web design through to print.
